After becoming the most successful first-time Libertarian Presidential candidate, Dr. Jo Jorgensen assumed the title of President of People For Liberty. During her ongoing tenure, she and People For Liberty continue to grow the Liberty movement enormously. Most notably, for PFL’s National Day of Service, thousands of Liberty supporters performed acts of service for their communities, generating press and good will.

Earning a BS from Baylor and an MBA from SMU, Dr. Jorgensen owned and ran a software duplication company in the 1990s, with revenues above $2M. In 1996, she was the Libertarian VP candidate for Harry Browne. Dr. Jorgensen later earned a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organization Psychology from Clemson University, where she is currently a Senior Lecturer.
 
Since her 2020 Presidential run, Dr. Jorgensen has maintained an active speaking schedule, speaking at LP state conventions and headlining diverse events like FreedomFest, Bitcoin, and LibertyCon. Her message of human respect is as popular as ever, and she continues to draw a crowd wherever she goes.
